For old school fans of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns and the basketball teams, tonight is definitely going to have a nostalgic feel. Both the men's and women's teams are in action tonight in postseason play.

The women will host Oral Roberts in the semifinals of the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament. Tip-off is set for 6pm at historic Earl K. Long Gym.

Then at 7:30pm it's the guys' turn as they host Evansville in the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com tournament. The game will be held at Blackham Coliseum, the long-time home for the team.

The last time the lights have been turned on at Blackham Coliseum for a basketball game was in 2006, which was during the season the team was displaced after Hurricane Katrina.

I stumbled on a great video online the other day of a Cajuns basketball game in Blackham Coliseum from 1983. The game was against Stetson and was broadcast on KADN TV-15 (now Fox 15).

It's not the whole game but the last few minutes of the game and I may add it's quite awesome. The outcome of the game is pretty awesome too.

If you don't remember what happened at this game, I won't spoil it for you but trust me when I say you want to watch this game.

There is nothing like a trip down memory lane. Let's see if we can recapture some of that magic tonight!
