William Michael Morgan has released a picturesque music video to complement his latest single, "Missing." Click play above to watch the sun-saturated clip about the joy found in hitting the open road and going missing for a few days.

In "Missing," viewers won't find Morgan cruising around with a pretty girl or falling in love over a glass of whiskey. Instead, the "Vinyl" singer is the only soul in sight -- and that's perfectly okay with him.

“Well, there ain’t no telling where I’m bound / The big city or the country or a little beach town / But you wont find me ’cause I can’t be found / I’m on a mission to be missing," sings Morgan in the song's chorus. "I'll be back someday, I just don't know when / 'Til then, I'll be a feather floating in the wind / Son, don't you go missing me / 'Cause sometimes missing is my favorite place to be."

Shot in a beat-up Ford in the California desert, the "Missing" music video finds Morgan surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The clip was filmed and directed by Jack Guy, and mountains frame every shot, creating a setting for Morgan's traditional country sound to shine.

“My favorite part about shooting this music video was the location,” says Morgan in a press release for the video. “We were surrounded by a bunch of mountains and out in the desert. The sun was shining down on us. It was a lot of fun.”

"Missing" is the second single from Morgan's debut album, Vinyl, which debuted in the Top 5 on the country charts. Following the breakout success of his new album and single, Moran will be anything but missing when he joins Lee Brice and Justin Moore for their American Made Tour beginning in January; fans can catch Morgan as the co-headliners' opening act through the end of March. Vinyl is available on iTunes, and you find upcoming tour dates on Morgan’s website.
