An elderly woman in England nearly died sunbathing on Monday after getting stuck in her deck chair.

The 80-year-old woman was trying to catch some rays during one of England's rare sunny days so she headed to her back yard. But, when she sat in her deck chair the fabric ripped and her back end got wedged between two metal poles on the chair's frame.

Unfortunately for her she couldn't get up and had no way of communicating to anyone that she needed help. All she could do was sit and wait.

Luckily, one of her neighbors came to water their garden. But that wasn't until 9:00 in the evening! That meant that the lady had been baking in the sun much of the day.

Firefighters were eventually able to wiggle her free and bring her to a local hospital. She didn't suffer any major injuries but was dehydrated and got some serious sun.
