Parents and loved ones recently watched in horror as a carnival swing ride collapsed in Palma Campania, near Naples.

20 Injured In Swing Ride Collapse In Italy

Terrifying video shows the moment a swing chair ride began rocking back and forth and then collapsing at a fair in Palma Campania in Italy.

20 people, including children, were reportedly injured in the accident.

Thankfully, no deaths have been reported.

According to metro.co.uk "detectives are investigating an individual responsible for the fairground on suspicion of causing injury through negligence by allowing the ride to suffer structural failure."

At the beginning of the video, you can see the base of the swing ride begin to rock back and forth, then people begin screaming and running as the ride collapses in on itself.

Reportedly authorities have taken the ride and equipment as evidence for further inspection.
