2024 Louisiana High School Football Brackets Released

The 2024 Louisiana high school football regular season is over, and it's time for the playoffs.

The road to the championships at the Caesars Superdome begins this upcoming weekend for Select and Non-Select schools in their respective divisions.

Of course, there was doubt that we would be finding out the playoff pairings today after Friday's Louisiana High School Athletic Association memo regarding an appeal ruling involving University Lab out of Baton Rouge.

You may recall that last week the LHSAA ruled that University Lab would be forced to forfeit all seven of its wins at the time due to an infraction. The school is appealing and a hearing in the case is set for November 18.

Instead of potentially delaying the entire postseason a week or more, the brackets that came out today show U-High's seven forfeits restored. They are the No. 2 seed in Division II Select.

If the school is unsuccessful in its appeal, then University will forfeit its second-round game, according to reports.

So, with all that said, below are the pairings in all eight divisions across the state.

The non-select playoffs will include 28 teams while the select playoffs will feature 24 participants earning spots.

As you will see in the brackets below, several of the higher-ranked teams will have a bye in the first round. The top four in the Non-Select divisions get a first-round bye and the top eight in the Select side get a first-round bye.
