UPDATE 2/18/21: According to deputies with the Lafayette and St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Offices say the girls were found safe in Lafayette Parish early Thursday morning.

UPDATE: The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office has provided additional information, along with photographs of each of the teens who went missing.

Here is the latest update from the LPSO:

Authorities have reason to believe that the girls may have cut and/or altered the color of their hair to try to evade recognition.

According to a Facebook Post by Kailey Register, 3 teens from the Cankton area are missing.

According to the post, the girls exited a Cankton-area home through a window and joined an adult in a waiting vehicle.

They are with a woman who is apparently old enough to drive and plan on going out of state from what the notes with little information were left behind. Kailey Register, Facebook

The woman who allegedly picked them up in the vehicle is believed to be between 25 and 30 years of age.
