For most (if not all) parents, a quality education is key in the development of your child. If you’re considering a move to Lafayette Parish, or are moving to a new area of Lafayette Parish, we’ve done a little bit of research for you and your child.

Using Greatschools.org, we’ve put together the top 5 middle schools in Lafayette Parish. Greatschools uses test scores, and reviews to put together these ratings.

The highest rating a school can get is a 10. Some schools had more reviews than others. Many schools had no reviews at all, so please don’t let this list be the end all be all of where you’d like to send your child to school if you’re considering areas to move to. Visit schools, consider other information on school performance, and programs.

Something else of note, just because a school isn’t on this list, doesn’t mean it’s a bad school. We just took into consideration the information that was given from Greatschools.org.

This school is the best in Lafayette Parish even the private schools my children attended. Our Principal Jeff Debetaz and Assistants are visible on campus everyday. Our school's academic performance is one of the tops not just in Louisiana but in The United States. I think ranks 14th. Our students rated Advance and Mastery on parish schools test. My baby is in advance classes, doing beautifully. Thanks to all the staff for the great leadership in leading our children to Academic Excellence.
