The American Kennel Club just released its list of the most popular dog breeds in the country. And the top of the list will come as a shock to no one.

For the 25th year in a row, the most popular breed is Labrador retriever.

The rest of the top five are dogs that are rarely out of the top five: German shepherds, golden retrievers, bulldogs, and beagles.

The list ranks 184 breeds all total. Things toward the bottom of the list get a little more obscure.

The five least popular breeds are: English foxhounds, harriers, Norwegian lungehunds, American foxhounds, and otterhounds.

AKC compiled the list according to 2015 registration stats. To see the complete list, click here.
