We all know that relationships don't come without arguments. It may just be in my own opinion, but I have always believed that if couples never fight, there may be something brewing underneath that will eventually blow up. It also could be that I just tend to look for things that are wrong. Give me a break, I'm a woman.

A survey was done recently where couple were asked what they tend to argue about most. Here are the top eight answers:

  1. Mess around the house
  2. Money
  3. Chores
  4. Relatives
  5. The Children
  6. Sex
  7. Going Out
  8. Past Relationships

Here are a few things that I have learned from past arguments.

Don't make money an issue until you have decided that your future together is set.

When it comes to relatives, be careful what you say. Never talk bad about them. If a relative has done you wrong, let the other person know in a calm manner.

Sex just isn't something that should cause an argument.

I have always tried to keep past relationships as just that; in the past. Our past makes us who we are and that is what makes your other half love you.

The one thing I have had to learn the hard way is to stay calm while in a disagreement with my other half. When things get heated and loud, we tend to say things that we don't mean or something rude just to try and gain the upper hand. That isn't what the argument is about. It is meant to work out the kinks and find some kind of compromise.

Okay, I'm done being all philosophical on you. Happy day that isn't Monday Dawgs!
