A Celebrity Mom’s Grief Helps to Prevent Childhood Drownings
In light of the horrible news yesterday about the drowning death of country star Granger Smith's 3 year old son, River, another celebrity mom is reaching out after the same thing happened to her family. A year ago this week, professional beach volleyball player and model Morgan Beck, who is married to Olympic and World Championship gold medalist Bode Miller, lost their daughter Emmeline to drowning. She was 19 months old.
Morgan has joined Nicole Hughes, the mother of 3 year old Levi Hughes, who drowned the exact same day as little Emmy, to get a campaign going to educate parents about the dangers of childhood drowning, and how it can be prevented.
