A Super Roundabout Is Coming To Busy Lafayette Intersection [Video]

A "super roundabout" is coming to the southern end of Lafayette Parish. Lafayette City Government District 8 Coucilwoman Liz Webb Hebert said the infrastructure work is already underway. Utilities are being run at this time, but constituents aren't seeing much progress. The roundabout is part of phase one of the Kaliste Saloom widening project that has been delayed. The project is expected to be completed in 2020 with construction on the roundabout starting early next year.
