Getting out to "look at the lights" is still a family favorite thing to do around the holiday season. And if there is anything that our Light Up Acadiana campaign showed us, it's that decorating for Christmas is still alive and well.

Now, if you did want to take a drive to check out Christmas lights, where exactly do you go?

Well, you can most certainly drive around just about any neighborhood in Acadiana and see several homes delightfully decorated and that would be a grand time.

You could also check out the unofficial Roundabout Capital of Louisiana. Yep, of course, we're talking about Youngsville.

The city is doing something clever and fun this holiday season. They've decorated each of the city's roundabouts for something they've deemed "Christmas in Youngsville Roundabout Tour."

To enjoy the magic of the holidays, simply take a drive around Youngsville and loop yourselves through each of the eight roundabouts for a bit of Christmas magic. The roundabouts come alive with Penguins on Parade, Christmas Carnival, Toy Soldiers, Santa and his Tractor, Santa Land, Toyland, Winter Skating Rink, and Santa and his Snowmen.

The displays are lit up each night from dusk to dawn through Christmas.

Below is a list of all the roundabout locations and a description as to what is displayed at each one. Oh, and if you have pictures of any of the displays, send those to us.
