Kylie Frey Opening for Little Big Town in Youngsville on Sept. 12

YOUNGSVILLE, La. - We are only days away from Little Big Town taking the stage at the Youngsville Amphitheater. That has been known for a while now. The opening act has not been revealed until now.

Organizers of the event have unveiled that Acadiana's own Kylie Frey will be the opening act for the Little Big Town show set for Saturday, September 12.

Who Is Kylie Frey? An Acadiana Rising Star

A native of Opelousas and graduate of Teurlings Catholic, Frey has garnered regional and national success for her singing and songwriting. One of her career highlights includes an appearance on Season 18 of America's Got Talent, where she made it to the show's semifinals. She was also named a CMT Next Women of Country in 2024.

Then, in early 2026, Reba McEntire recorded and released the song "One Night in Tulsa," which was originally written and released by Frey in 2019.

"Kylie Frey is exactly the kind of artist we are proud to showcase at the Youngsville Amphitheater," said Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter. "She's from right here in Acadiana, and we know our community is going to be excited to welcome her home. Having Kylie open for Little Big Town makes this a truly special night for country music fans in our area."

The night will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Thea Lissi, bringing an especially local connection to the concert. Lissi is not only a talented performer but also a Youngsville business owner. After her opening set, Frey will perform at 7:30 p.m.

The evening will culminate with a performance by Little Big Town, the Grammy Award-winning country group with hits like "Girl Crush," "Pontoon," "Boondocks," "Better Man," and "Wine, Beer, Whiskey."
