The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Is Coming to Acadiana This Week — Here Are All the Stops

LAFAYETTE, La. - The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is making multiple stops in Acadiana this week, giving everyone a chance to see the iconic ride up close and personal.

Wienermobile Schedule: Three Acadiana Stops July 23–24

The 27-foot vehicle will be visiting two Rouses locations. Here are the dates, times, and locations of the appearances:

• Thursday, July 23, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. -- 1810 Camellia Boulevard in Lafayette
• Thursday, July 23, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. -- 2900 E. Milton Avenue in Youngsville

But wait, there's more. The Wienermobile will also be parked outside the Children's Museum of Acadiana in Downtown Lafayette (201 E. Congress St.) on Friday, July 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Wienermobile Turns 90 — Driver Nacho Dog Norah on the Public's Memories

Norah Martin, also known as "Nacho Dog Norah," will be driving the Wienermobile through Acadiana along with her co-pilot known as "Cookout Caroline." Martin told KATC-TV 3 that the vehicle's 90th anniversary has brought out a wave of memories from the public.

"The mobile is 90 years old this year, and everybody we meet has such cool stories — whether it's their first time or their grandpaw was a Hotdogger many years ago, whatever it may be, people have the greatest stories, and we just relish when people come up to us and share their experiences about the Wienermobile," Martin said.
