University Avenue in Lafayette Lane Closure Sept. 21-22

Lafayette, LA - Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) has announced a lane closure on E. University Avenue as Atmos Energy carries out utility work in the area.

The northwest-bound lane between Harding Street and Coolidge Street will be closed on Monday, September 21, and Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Drivers traveling through the area should plan for delays, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted signage. LCG is asking residents to exercise caution while the work is underway.
