
Youngsville Is Getting a New Mexican Restaurant With a Louisiana Twist
YOUNGSVILLE, La. - It's obviously no surprise to you that the Lafayette area has more Mexican restaurants per capita than anywhere else in Louisiana. OK, we're making that up, but as you well know, there are certainly numerous options for you when you're craving some delicious Mexican cuisine.
So, if someone wanted to open a new Mexican restaurant, they'd need to offer something a little different to stand out in the sea of other Mexican restaurants in Acadiana, right?
That is exactly what Youngsville's La Casa Bayou is looking to do, as you can tell by the name.

La Casa Bayou Is Coming To Youngsville
Construction is currently underway for La Casa Bayou at 2600 E. Milton Ave. in Youngsville, the previous location of Route 92 and later The Crawfish Boss.
The owners recently shared an update on Facebook saying there's still plenty of work to do, but that the restaurant is gradually coming together.

What Will La Casa Bayou Serve?
This is where La Casa Bayou is looking to set themselves apart from the herd.
In their description on Facebook -
La Casa Bayou brings together authentic Mexican cuisine and Louisiana hospitality in a warm, inviting atmosphere. From handcrafted cocktails, premium margaritas, and fresh flavorful dishes made for an exceptional experience.
Specific menu items haven't been officially announced yet, so we're not going to start guessing about exactly what's going to be on the menu, but given their name of La Casa Bayou, they're obviously looking to offer Mexican cuisine with a Louisiana vibe.
We don't know exactly how the restaurant plans to put its Louisiana spin on the food yet, but the owners are clearly leaning into the idea.
When Will La Casa Bayou In Youngsville Open?
La Casa Bayou does not currently have an official opening date. However, construction is underway at the Youngsville location, and the owners have indicated that there's still work to be completed before the restaurant is ready for customers.
So if you're already thinking about your first margarita order, you're going to have to hang tight for a little while longer.

Youngsville continues to see plenty of growth, and La Casa Bayou will add another dining option to an area that's already becoming a popular destination for restaurants and businesses.
Now we're just waiting to see exactly what "Louisiana soul" tastes like on a taco, and we're pretty excited about the possibilities!
