There isn't an official public list showing exactly how many orders each restaurant receives. DoorDash and Uber Eats don't publish those individual restaurant order totals.

So instead, we looked at the information the two delivery services do make publicly available, including customer rating totals, "Most Ordered" listings, popularity rankings, and other delivery information.

Based on those numbers, these are some of the biggest delivery players in the Acadiana area.

1. Wingstop - Lafayette

If you like chicken wings, there's a pretty good chance you've seen Wingstop pop up when you're scrolling through DoorDash. The Lafayette location has 10,000+ DoorDash ratings, putting it in a completely different category when it comes to visible delivery activity.

That's a whole lot of wings being delivered around Lafayette.

2. Chick-fil-A - Lafayette

Chick-fil-A is another restaurant that shows just how popular a national chain can be when it comes to delivery. The Lafayette locations have thousands of DoorDash ratings, along with substantial activity on Uber Eats.

Of course, the chicken sandwiches and waffle fries are popular choices, but the convenience of it is probably a big part of why they rank so high on this list.

3. Kevin's Seafood - Lafayette

Kevin's Seafood isn't a national chain. It's a Lafayette-area restaurant that has built a huge presence on the delivery apps. The restaurant has 6,000+ DoorDash ratings and more than 1,000 Uber Eats ratings.

4. Soul Haus Kitchen - Lafayette

Another local restaurant making showing up big on delivery apps is Soul Haus Kitchen.

DoorDash shows 6,000+ ratings for the Lafayette restaurant.

Soul Haus specializes in Southern comfort food, with dishes such as smothered meats, red beans and rice, fried seafood and other great plate lunches.

5. Mezcal Mexican Restaurant - Lafayette

Craving Mexican food? Apparently, plenty of people in Lafayette are.

Mezcal Mexican Restaurant has 5,000+ DoorDash ratings, along with hundreds of Uber Eats ratings.

6. Zea Rotisserie & Bar - Lafayette

Zea is another Lafayette restaurant that performs well across both delivery platforms. The Lafayette location has 4,000+ DoorDash ratings and hundreds of Uber Eats ratings.

7. The Acadiana Bar & Grill - Youngsville

The Acadiana Bar & Grill in Youngsville has 2,000+ DoorDash ratings, which is impressive because Youngsville is obviously a much smaller community than Lafayette, not that people in Lafayette aren't DoorDashing their food, but you see what we're getting at.

The restaurant's DoorDash page also features a "Most Ordered" section, giving customers a look at some of the items people are ordering regularly.

8. KOK Wings & Things - New Iberia

KOK Wings & Things has steadily become an Acadiana favorite, and the delivery orders prove it.

The restaurant has 1,000+ DoorDash ratings, making it one of the more prominent delivery restaurants we found outside Lafayette. We're talking wings, loaded fries, seafood, sliders and a bunch of different sauces and rubs.

9. Ninja Hibachi Express - Broussard

Broussard gets a spot on the list with Ninja Hibachi Express.

The restaurant has 500+ DoorDash ratings and nearly 100 Uber Eats ratings. Hibachi also happens to be pretty good delivery food. Rice, noodles, steak, chicken and shrimp all tend to travel pretty well and show up at door in great shape.

10. Tad's Louisiana Cooking - Youngsville

Rounding out our list is Tad's Louisiana Cooking in Youngsville. A big Cajun meal delivered to the house sounds like a pretty good way to spend a Friday night, especially after a crazy workday that leaves you no time for cooking your own.
