Acadia Officials Hoping To Solve June Home Invasion
A home invasion north of Crowley has still not been solved, and detectives are hoping that someone will come forward with information that could lead them to the two perpetrators responsible for this incident.
At around 5 o'clock on the morning of Thursday, June 25, someone came over to a home in the 100 block of Paulette Lane and kicked in the side door of this home.
The crime didn't stop there. Once they were inside the home, the two people went up to the bedroom were the people who lived there were hiding. Detectives say several shots were then fired into the door. One one person was hurt, officials with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office say that the injury was not considered life threatening.
After this, the two people then ran out of the home, and detectives say they took off in a white car.
Acadia Parish Sheriff's officials are still waiting on that one tip that will help them to solve this case.
