Acadiana Symphony Welcomes You Home For The Holidays

The Acadiana Symphony heralds the arrival of the holiday season with a spectacular musical celebration. "I'll Be Home For Christmas" is the name of this year's holiday concert. The program is scheduled for Thursday December 19th in Lafayette's Heymann Performing Arts Center.

I'll Be Home For Christmas will feature some very special guests in performance with the symphony. Jennifer Welch-Babidge will be the featured vocalist. Ms Welch-Babidge has been hailed by critics worldwide for her vocal and acting abilities. The publication ,Opera News wrote of her,

“Welch-Babidge served up some ravishing soubrette-singing. Her voice is agile and beautifully projected, with a lavish bloom and a silvery edge; she clearly loves the stage”.

Other featured guest include the Acadiana Youth Orchestras, the Acadiana Symphony Chorus and a special visit by Santa Claus.

Tickets for Thursday's show are available now and the performance is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm.
