A Lafayette school has posted a "We Miss You" video on Youtube to let their students know how they feel.

The administration at J.W. James School on W. Willow in Lafayette posted the video, set to Marvin Gaye's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", on April 5 of this year, right in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

If you recall, Governor Edwards made the decision to shut down the schools to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, hoping to flatten the curve, and students haven't been back to school since.

In the video you'll see pictures of faculty members mixed with messages of hope, inspiration, and hand-written "We miss you" notes.

Kudos to the staff of JWJ for putting together such a great video for the kids.
