Amber Alert – Child Missing From Iberia Parish Found Safe
UPDATE: Shortly after 3 AM authorities canceled the Amber Alert for Liam Jamil Allen. The boy was found safe and a suspect is in custody. No other details are available at this time.
(Original Story) A statewide Amber Alert was activated early this morning for a missing Iberia Parish child. The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office believes 9-month-old Liam Jamil Allen, is believed to have been sleeping in a vehicle that was stolen about 11 PM last night.
The vehicle is a white 2002 4-door Nissan Altima bearing Louisiana license plate 191CFG. The vehicle looks very similar to the car pictured below.
Liam Allen is believed to be in imminent danger and is described as a 9-month-old bi-racial male infant with short curly black hair. He is approximately 24” tall and weighs about 26 pounds. He was last seen wearing a peach and white striped “onesie”. The photo below is a picture of Liam in the clothing he was last seen wearing.
The white male suspect is described as having a slender build and light colored hair with a receding hairline and ponytail. He was wearing white shorts and Nike tennis shoes. Here is a surveillance camera picture of the suspect.
