A 13-year-old juvenile in St. Landry Parish is learning the hard way that law enforcement authorities do not "play" when it comes to threats made against schools. Yesterday authorities in St. Landry Parish announced that they had made an arrest in connection with a bomb threat that was made on Thursday.

The alleged threat was reported to have been discovered in a urinal in one of the school's restrooms. That suspect was reported to have been seen leaving that restroom shortly before the threat was discovered.

Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said the juvenile was questioned and allegedly admitted to writing the threat. That threat caused the evacuation of Eunice Junior High and Eunice High School. Once the threat had been abated students were allowed to return to class.
