If there is one fact that should be crystal clear to everyone in this day and age it's this. You can't make a threat against a school and not expect to have consequences. A Lake Charles man is finding that out the hard way after he was arrested and charged in connection with an incident that took place at LaGrange High School on Tuesday.

According to reports, Christopher Thomas of Lake Charles was arrested after it was alleged he had made a threat against a student at LaGrange High School. The threat and we are paraphrasing, suggested that he, Thomas, was going to come to the school with a gun.

When school resource officers learned of the threat they immediately placed the facility on lockdown and Lake Charles Police were called. Thomas was not apprehended on campus but was actually found later in the day on Tuesday. He has been booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on charges of terrorizing and simple assault.
