Astronauts Release Video From Space to Travis Tritt Song [VIDEO]
You never know where you might find the next big video superstar. It might even be someone you'd least expect. With that being said, I think the astronauts aboard the International Space Station have a pretty good shot at a new career when they finally hit the ground in October of this year.
From 250 miles above Earth, Expedition 63 began their journey to the International Space Station on April 17th with Commander Chris Cassidy and crew. Their journey will end in a couple of months, so they have plenty of time on their hands to....make music videos? They clearly have a love of country music, because their version of Travis Tritt's "It's a Great Day to be Alive" is pretty unique. The video shows the day to day lives of the astronauts, and manages to capture some much needed humor for the space cowboys, as they lip sync their way through the classic tune.
In an official press release, Travis Tritt stated “This is the closest I will ever get to actually being in space. I’m very honored to have my music being played on the International Space Station!” Check out the video below, and Godspeed to these brave crew members!
