Battle at the Butte This Weekend in Butte La Rose

This weekend Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19 is the Battle at the Butte, the hottest quarter mile of drag boat racing in the country! The Deep South Racing Association is hosting the event and all proceeds will benefit the Butte La Rose Fire Department.

Gates will open at 9 a.m. and the racing will start at 10:30 sharp. Admission is $10, children ages 12 and under is free cost. You may bring your own ice chest for an extra $10. The Battle at the Butte is brought to you by Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino and the Deep South Racing Association.
