Bell Bottoms & Bikinis : Lainey Wilson Coming to the Gulf Coast

Any Louisiana country music lover has figured it out, this show will star Lainey Wilson and it's going to be at the beach. Naturally, I'm sure you have a few more questions, namely when, where, and how do I get a ticket, but first things first, let's get you the details of the show.

I guess the first thing we should clear up, especially for the fellows, no,  there is no such thing as a bell-bottom bikini. If there were they would simply be called baggy shorts, which are comfortable and might be worn to a Lainey Wilson show on the beach but I don't think any of the ladies would count that as "proper fashion". We should note that there is such a thing as the bell bikini bottom. You can see that here. 

If you're not familiar with Gulf Coast Music Festivals there is a great one that is held every year in Gulf Shores. It's called The Hangout Festival, it just wrapped up a few weeks ago. But no, this isn't the one that Lainey Wilson will be playing.

You'll need to slide down Highway 98 in Florida for another hour or so, that's when you'll get to the site of the just concluded Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach. This year's Gulf Coast Jam starred Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, and Parker McCollum. Each of those major acts headlined the show for one of the festival's four nights.

But as the lights were about to dim at Frank Brown Park in PCB festival organizers threw a bone to the crowd, a huge bone, that's when they announced that CMA, ACM, and almost any other award show with initials Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson would be headlining the event in 2025.

As you've likely figured out, there will be at least three other headliners announced since each star headlines one particular day of the event. Lainey will appear at some time during the festival which has been officially announced for May 29th through June 1st of 2025. We should know specifics of what day Lainey will be performing a little later this year.

Tickets for the 2024 Gulf Coast Jam sold out more than six months in advance of the show, so it's a hot ticket to begin with and the confirmation that Lainey Wilson has a performer will only make it a hotter time on the beach.
