'Dog the Bounty Hunter' star Beth Chapman, who is battling cancer, was hospitalized over the weekend due to an accumulation of fluid in her lungs. According to a message on Duane 'Dog' Chapman's Facebook page, she has been released and is at home with her family.

Beth was diagnosed with Stage 2 throat cancer in 2017, and seemed to be doing well until late last year, when she was rushed into emergency surgery after the cancer returned. The Chapman's are currently filming a new show for WGN America called 'Dog’s Most Wanted', and they recently arrested a fugitive on Louisiana's Most Wanted list. This will be the first unscripted show on the network in over five years.

We are sending our very best wishes out to Beth for a speedy recovery! See the statement from the family below.
