A UPS store in Spring, Texas got quite a scare on Monday evening.

Workers were doing what they do -- processing and shipping packages -- when they got concerned over several shipments they were processing, thinking they were explosives.

So, out of caution and fear, the employees called the authorities.

The bomb squad with the Harris County Sheriff's Office suited up and readied themselves to tackle the potential devices in question at the store.

They headed out to the store and began their investigation. After a careful inspection of the suspicious packages, the bomb squad deduced that the boxes did not contain anything explosive.

It was at that time the bomb squad was able to determine exactly what was in those packages -- extremely expensive Tequila bottles!

Ironically, this incident happened on National Tequila Day.

While liquor is not illegal to ship, there are some strict requirements in place to ensure the safe transportation of alcohol. In this case, it's unclear if anybody did anything wrong or if it was simply a misunderstanding.

At any rate, the scare was still very real for the employees. We're just glad that no one was harmed.
