Personally, I absolutely despise everything that is child pageants. I cringe every time my wife flips on TLC's Toddlers & Tiaras! There is very little right to me about three-year-olds wearing makeup and flaunting around a stage in front of other kids' stage moms.

Given all this, you can bet I was shaking my head when I saw the promo for a Toddlers spin-off featuring the evidently popular Honey Boo Boo.

Go-Go juice connoisseur and heavenly Alana "Honey Boo Boo Child" Thompson will have her own show called Here Comes Honey Boo, featuring her Southern-loving family.

TV execs have officially run out of ideas.
