On a night set aside for ghosts, ghouls, goblins and tricks, one young boy takes the 'treat' part of Halloween to the sweetest level ever. What he did may not melt chocolate, but it will melt your heart.

Husband and wife Leslie and Kevin Hodges from Gambrills, Maryland had put out a bowl of candy for trick-or-treaters this Halloween but at some point during the evening, the bowl went empty.

What the Maryland couple's video doorbell recorded proves there is hope for humanity after all. A young boy approached the home only to notice the empty bowl. When he saw an even younger girl approaching the home, being the utmost gentleman, he reached into his own bag of candy and puts more candy in the empty bowl.

Leslie Hodges wrote on Facebook. "What a selfless act from this little guy!" The young boy's video has now been viewed by over 5.5 million on Facebook.
