A 10-year-old boy is credited for saving his mom's life after he jumped into a swimming pool to rescue her.

The young boy, Gavin Keeney, was with his mom when she had a seizure in the pool and that's when Gavin jumped into action.

As you'll see here, the young boy was able to pull his mother, Lori Keeny, to rescue and that's when his grandfather came in to assist them.

Lori Keeny is epileptic, thus her son was aware of her condition, and knew that if he didn't do something fast that his mother would drown.

Security footage from their backyard caught the incident and here's the young boy saving his mother's life.

ABC News reports that the young boy was recognized by the Kingston Police Department and awarded for his bravery.
