Cajun Comic Relief XXIII Set For Saturday at Heymann Center in Lafayette

One of the my favorite events of the year happens this Saturday, March 7th at the Heymann Performing Arts Center in Lafayette as Cajun Comic Relief XXIII will be held.

This year's show will benefit Mission Vets and the local military families that they serve.

The line-up is fantastic as always. The show will include comics Maw Maw Thibodeaux ("The Cajun Diva"), Blake Hebert of Gueydan, Mark Everetts and the "Ragin' Cajun" John Morgan.

There will be two shows, one at 3pm and at 8pm. The pre-show starts at 1pm for the matinee and 6pm for the evening show. There are three great musical acts that will entertain you: The Leblanc Family Band, Matthew Ewing and David Joel from Texas.

Tickets are still available for $23 (plus fees) and available through all Ticketmaster outlets and the Heymann box office.

And if you're coming to the afternoon show, you may just see a familiar face as your co-M.C. (Yes, that's a shameless plug!)
