Cajundome to Offer Free Outdoor Events in June and July

While we are still waiting and wondering just when live concerts will return to Lafayette's Cajundome that doesn't mean we can't head out to the 'Dome for some fun. The Cajundome announced Thursday that the venue will host three free outdoor events in June and July.

These events are free for you and your family to enjoy. The Cajundome is calling the events Louisiana Saturday Night Farm and Flea. You've probably figured out what some of the fun is all about just from the title huh?

You and your family will be able to stroll through a farmer's market and flea market too. Vendors will have merchandise for sale and yes food and drink will be available for purchase.

Food trucks will also be stationed around the Cajundome and there will be an outdoor cinema too. Wonderland Performing Arts will provide entertainment and there will also be live music performances as well.

Louisiana Saturday Night Farm and Flea will be presented on Saturday, June 27th, and on July 18th and 25th. Admission is free and parking is free at Cajun Field next door to the facility.  Cajundome organizers say the event will follow all social distancing protocols as directed by the state. You're encouraged to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. Please leave your pets and outside food and beverages at home.
