Could you imagine a Cajun Cardi?

If she was from down south she would definitely have to work on some of the local lingo, especially after hearing a "drop" that she sent over to promote her brand new single ("WAP") with Megan Thee Stallion.

It's normal for artists to send custom drops to DJs when they're looking to promote new music, but it's rare to get them from artists who have reached a certain level of superstardom. So you can imagine how excited I was to get custom drops from the one and only Cardi B.

I was excited when I opened my email, only to open up the download and hear the following.

For the video to have its full effect I need you to know that artists are usually handed "drop lists" that have certain tags or reads from specific radio stations and the cities they're located in. Phonetics are a huge must, so for Hot 1079 our read is: "HOT ONE-OH-SEVEN-NINE, ACADIANA'S HOTTEST MUSIC!"

I can totally understand the butchering of "Acadiana" BUT ... that was definitely the first time I've EVER heard it pronounced that way, and I still can't understand how she got NICE out of NINE.

But, in the end, I think I'm happier with this unique sound byte that will definitely be a great story to tell forever. Clearly, a lot of people on social media agree after reading these comments.
