If you're Catholic, you know it's important to get to confession. Sometimes, life gets in the way of keeping up with your Catholic duties, but the Lafayette Diocese has just come up with an idea to remedy that.

The Lafayette Diocese has converted an old ambulance into a mobile confessional they're calling a "Spiritual Care Unit".

The movement is all part of a "Year of Mercy" starting December 8th called upon by Pope Francis. Inside the vehicle you'll find Bibles, rosaries and holy water.

It's a way that we can give some pride and public expression of our Catholic faith that is not just meant for the walls of the church, but on the streets. We need to go to where people are. People come to the church as a center of worship and pray, but we also have to do outreach
