Frankie Ballard "Sunshine & Whiskey"

A lot of us here at 97.3 The Dawg have been big fans of Frankie Ballard since he first hit the country music scene a couple of years ago.

He had some moderate success with his first two singles -- "Tell Me You Get Lonely" and "A Buncha Girls". Both songs cracked the top 40 on the music charts and were off of his debut self-titled CD which was released in 2011.

Fast forward a couple of years and Frankie has his first bona fide hit on his hands with "Helluva Life". The song has cracked the top 20 and if that boy don't watch himself, it'll be a #1 song for him!

Frankie's second album drops on February 11th and it's entitled Sunshine & Whiskey. You can pre-order the CD now at Frankie's website right now.

As a treat for his fans, Frankie just released an acoustic version of the title track and it's pretty darn good if you ask me.
