Chick-fil-A drive-thru lanes and restaurant lobbies will soon offer Louisiana guests some new choices just in time for Christmas. We say new, there are two new treats the Atlanta-based fast food chain will be offering. But, for many Louisiana Chick-fil-A fans it's the chain's nod to the past that will have them queuing up for a Christmas treat as a couple of "old favorites" will be gracing the menu boards around the state beginning next Monday.

Chick-fil-A fans will want to set a reminder for November 13th, you know it's not a Sunday, because that's when the old favorites and two new treats will be available in Louisiana and nationwide. And as you might imagine peppermint figures quite prominently in three of the four items that will be added or re-added to the menu.

What Favorites Is Chick-fil-A Bringing Back for Christmas?

Let's start with the one item that doesn't have peppermint. That would be the Chicken Tortilla Soup. This hearty heart-warming soul-soothing elixir is back for its 11th year at Chick-fil-A stores across Louisiana. It features chicken strips, black beans, veggies, and seasoned tortilla strips in a creamy base. It will hit the spot on a cold winter's day that's for sure.

The other holiday favorite that's coming back to Chick-fil-A is the Peppermint Milk Shake. Do you recall when you had your first one? Well, it could have been in 2008. That's when the restaurant chain first introduced the Icedream dessert that features chips of peppermint bark mixed in. In my opinion, it tastes like Christmas is supposed to feel.

What Two New Menu Items Is Chick-fil-A Adding For Christmas This Year?

First things first, you know they involve peppermint and if you love coffee you'll be excited to learn there is a lot of that involved too. The first new item is the Peppermint Iced Coffee. It's cold-brewed coffee and 2% milk that is sweetened with pure cane syrup and peppermint syrup and served over ice.

The second new menu item for the Chick-fil-A Christmas Collection 2023 is the Frosted Peppermint Chip Coffee. They'll mix a custom blend of cold-brewed coffee, peppermint syrup, Chick-fil-A Icedream dessert, and crunchy chips of peppermint bark and call it good.

Chick-fil-A Announces 18 Clothing Items for the Holiday Season Too.

However, the items that stood out to us aren't really clothes, however, they are geared to keeping you warm this winter. One of those items is a Chick-fil-A-themed sleeping bag, a pillow that was inspired by the Original Chick-fil-A sandwich, and a wearable blanket too. If you're looking for gift ideas for the Chick-fil-A fan on your list you can expect to spend anywhere from $20 bucks to $80 bucks to secure your purchases.

Here's the entire collection, if you'd like to peruse it.
