Chick-fil-A in Opelousas, Louisiana Announces Grand Opening Date

Residents in St. Landry Parish have eagerly been waiting for an opening date of the new Chick-fil-A in Opelousas.

We know now that date as the store has a sign out front that reads, "Grand opening November 30th."

This new location of Chick-fil-A is located at 1119 E Landry Street in Opelousas, next door to CVS and across from Lowe's.

Interestingly to note, this Chick-fil-A location is not affiliated with the Lafayette, Louisiana locations and is operated independently.

At any rate, it adds to a growing number of Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Acadiana area. Below is the relatively short list of locations open and operating right now:

• 3205 Louisiana Avenue - Lafayette
• 600 McKinley St (located in University of Louisiana) - Lafayette
• 5300 Johnston St - Lafayette
• 5725 Johnston St A266 (in Acadiana Mall) - Lafayette
• 101 Meadow Farm Dr - Lafayette
• 1116 E Admiral Doyle Dr - New Iberia

Back to the new Opelousas Chick-fil-A. It's always fun to look at the comments on social media. And, as it should be, people seem to be genuinely excited for the new restaurant to open up.

And then there are some who are a little more pessimistic about visiting the new Chick-fil-A, at least initially.

Somehow, we are pretty confident in thinking that opening day will be wildly successful.
