Chris Lane’s ‘American Idol’ Audition [VIDEO]

As 'American Idol' swings into it's final season, some of the more colorful audition tapes are resurfacing, and we found one for new country music artist Chris Lane. Chris has a new single out on Big Loud Records called 'Fix', and he was here 'Live in the Lobby' with us a couple of weeks ago. Back in 2007, he and his twin brother Corey auditioned for Season 7 of Idol, as a rap duo. They even had a girlfriend along, who also got to sing for Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul.....with her dog.

Just for the record, Chris Lane is smokin' hot, a really talented musician, and a really, really nice guy. With that in mind, watch the audition tape above and try not to cringe. Yikes.
