Chuy Bravo, Longtime TV Sidekick, Dead at 63
Chuy Bravo, who was Chelsea Handler's longtime TV sidekick, has died. He was 63.
The Mexican-American actor was best known for his many appearances on "Chelsea Lately," the E! show that ran from 2007 to 2014.
Bravo passed away on Sunday, according to family. He was hospitalized on Saturday in Mexico City, where he had been visiting family for the past month.
His family members said he came down with a bad stomach ache Saturday and had to be rushed to an emergency room, where he stayed overnight. The exact cause of death is unclear yet.
Bravo was born in Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. when he was 15. He got the acting bug when he wandered onto the set of "Three Amigos" and decided he wanted to give acting a try.
He says he started taking acting classes and was eventually cast in "Austin Powers in Goldmember."
Other films Chuy has been in include "The Rundown," "Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End," "The Honeymooners," and "Tiptoes," among others.
