Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been one of the unsung heroes of this magical season that LSU Football is right at the tail end of, he's been so important to the success they've had. It was really unfortunate that he injured his hamstring at practice prior to the Peach Bowl against the Oklahoma Sooners.

In that game, he received limited touches but did ultimately play, Chris Curry handled most of the running back duties and filled in very well but he wasn't Clyde.

So, the big question heading into this 2020 National Championship Game against the Tigers of Clemson is, how is Clyde's hammy feeling?

Well, according to a video posted on Twitter by Marty Smith of ESPN he's looking pretty darn healthy.

This is a great sign for LSU if he's able to return to full speed in this game against Clemson. Edwards-Helaire has become the heart and soul of this team and a big-time safety valve for QB Joe Burrow.

If he's able to go full strength in the National Championship Game it would provide a big boost and a spark for LSU in the Super Dome this coming Monday.
