Costco Stops Selling Dinosaur Cakes Because Legs Make the Number “666”

When Lafayette gets its first Costco next year there will be one item you won't be able to buy -- a dinosaur cake.

Not a big deal you say. Well, it was for mom Jessica Eckerdt of Queen Creek, Arizona recently as she picked up her son's birthday cake from her local Costco.

She quickly noticed the dinosaur only had three legs. And then she noticed that each leg was in the shape of the number six. Thus, the dinosaur's legs made the number "666".

Eckerdt says, "I was extremely shocked and upset to see a demonic symbol written clear as day on my six-year-old son's birthday cake . . . I was extremely surprised at Costco for allowing such an inappropriate joke."

Was this a prank by the person who designed it? Was it by accident? We probably will never know. Magically, Costco has taken this particular cake design out of their catalog.
