Could You Really Dig From Lafayette Straight Through To China?

I'm going to China, that was the reason for many a hole that was dug in my parents back yard. I, like a lot of you probably think, in theory you could dig straight through to China. I guess if you had the right kind of drilling equipment you could dig a hole all the way through the center of the Earth. If you lived and Lafayette and dug such a hole would you actually come out in China?

The short answer is no. So if you don't wind up in China where would you wind up? With the answer to that question is this, the Antipodes Map.
