According to an update from the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office, a stretch of Crowley Eunice Highway has reopened in both directions after an accident Sunday morning.

No further details were made available at this time.


The official Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office Facebook page posted an update saying that State Police are currently working on the crash and advised motorists to take an alternate route.

The area affected is reportedly between Atteberry Road and Buckhorn Drive.
