Curfews Set for Acadiana Parishes Ahead of Hurricane Laura
Ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Laura, most of the parishes in Acadiana have a curfew in place.
Below is the list of all parishes in Acadiana that have curfews implemented by local government:
Acadia Parish
Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson announced a curfew for the parish from dusk to dawn on Wednesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 27.
Evangeline Parish
Ville Plate Mayor Jennifer Vidrine has announced a citywide curfew on Wednesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 27 from 8 pm to 5 am.
Iberia Parish
Beginning on Wednesday, August 26 at 9 pm until Thursday, August 27 at 6 am a mandatory curfew is in place for all Iberia Parish residents.
Jeff Davis Parish
A parish-wide curfew begins at sunset on Thursday, August 27 until dawn on Friday, August 28.
Lafayette Parish
Mayor-President Josh Guillory has imposed a parish-wide curfew beginning at 8 pm on Wednesday, August 26 until 6 am on Thursday, August 27.
The curfew requires individuals to remain at home with only a few exceptions.

St. Martin Parish
Parish President Chester Cedars has imposed a parish-wide curfew beginning Wednesday, August 26 and from 8 pm - 7 am and then on Thursday, August 27 from 6 pm - 6 am.
Vermilion Parish
A curfew is in effect for the Town of Gueydan beginning at midnight Wednesday, August 26 until 5 am on Thursday, August 27.
The City of Abbeville also has a curfew in effect from 10 pm on Wednesday, August 26 through Thursday, August 27 at 5 am.
