There were just two country categories at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards and Dan + Shay won both. The "All to Myself" singers took Choice Country Song and Choice Country Artist during Sunday night's (Aug. 11) Fox broadcast.

The duo were not able to attend the Hermosa Beach, Calif., awards show. Instead they were waiting out a rain storm in Springfield, Ill. As of Monday morning Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney had not reacted to the double wins on either their shared or individual Twitter accounts. The Choice Country Song Teen Choice Award was for their No. 1 hit, "Speechless."

In the Choice Country Artist category, the pair topped Brett Young, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett. "Speechless" bested "Girl" by Maren Morris, "Good as You" by Brown, "Look What God Gave Her" by Rhett, "Miss Me More" by Ballerini and "Rainbow" by Musgraves. The only other country-related award was to Taylor Swift, who was presented the inaugural Icon Award.

It's been a big year of wins for Dan + Shay. The two Teen Choice Awards prizes follow tremendous success at the 2019 ACM Awards, where they won Duo, Single and Song of the Year. Nominations for the 2019 CMA Awards are expected in the next two to three weeks, and the veteran duo will no doubt be favorites in the Duo category. "Speechless" is the second of three singles (so far) from their self-titled third album, released in June 2018.
