Delcambre Firefighters Annual Shrimp Cook Off is June 18

Our friends in the Delcambre Volunteer Fire Department are putting together an awesome event that celebrates so much that we love about Delcambre - the Second annual Shrimp Cook Off on June 18th. Registration is open for teams right now, and the cook off itself will be held from 6:00 am - 11:00 am at Bayou Carlin Cove Pavilion.

There are 4 different categories - pasta, fried, gravy / stews, and 'other', so you've got plenty of time to get your winning recipes together! This is a family friendly event that includes face painting for the kids, a 50/50 raffle, live/silent auction, and lots of great music from the Beau Young Band, and Sideshow.
