Shaking Out the Good Stuff – Paques in the Parc Slated for March 30th in Lafayette, Louisiana
Paques in the Parc, an Easter celebration in downtown Lafayette, is returning and will be taking place on Saturday, March 30th in Parc International.
The 2nd annual event will feature Cajun and Zydeco bands, Cajun and Creole food, and the opportunity for the King of Paques to be crowned.
Bring your favorite decorated Easter egg and compete in the traditional egg knocking competition for a chance to be crowned King or Queen of Paques.
There will also be children's games hosted by the Children's Museum of Acadiana.
In addition to the great Cajun and Creole food, there will be soft drinks, water, and beer available for purchase. No outside food or drinks will be allowed.

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin' Cajuns
3:00 pm: Paquer Contest
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Geno Delafose & French Rockin' Boogie
4:30 pm: Paquer Contest
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Horace Trahan and the Ossun Express
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm: Rusty Metoyer & Zydeco Krush
Special Guest: CG The Ordinary Man and Bezel
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm: Lil Nate and the Zydeco Big Timers

Paques in the Parc is put on by Good Tymes Cares, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural diversity and supporting the arts in our community.
