Denzel Washington Delivers Inspirational Commencement Speech To Dillard Grads In New Orleans

Denzel Washington delivered a truly inspirational commencement speech to the 2015 graduating class from Dillard University in New Orleans last week. His speech makes me think of Kristian Bush's lyric "never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch".

Denzel flunked out of college when he was 20, although he eventually received a bachelor's degree in drama and journalism from Fordham University in New York. On May 9th, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Dillard University, according to Nola.com.

In his speech, he told the graduates "Fail big", "You'll never see a U-Haul behind a hearse" and "say thank you in advance of what is already yours".
