You may be thinking about football this weekend, or when you are going to take a nap to catch up on sleep you lost this week, but please don't forget to go and vote this Saturday, October 12.

There are a variety of different offices, issues and amendments that are waiting for you to making a decision about these items.

The polls will open at 7 a.m. this Saturday morning, and they do not close until 8 p.m.

Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin says, as is the practice, if you are in line to vote at 8 p.m. on election night, you will be allowed to vote.

Each person in each parish will have to make a decision about four constitutional amendments, and if you would like to find out more about the amendments, you can click here.

Whether it's a school board election, a council member you want to vote for or an amendment you plan to vote against, make sure you find the time to vote this Saturday.
